MOST COMMONLY ASKED PAYROLL QUESTIONS

Please be sure to carefully look at the dates listed on your check, as this confuses many people. Note that the first date is PAY PERIOD ENDING, which means the check covers the 14 days prior to that date, and the next date listed on the check is PAY DATE. Often people look at these 2 dates and mistakenly think these represent the dates covered for being paid. Please read that carefully ?

  1. If you work a party, please do not clock in once you arrive at the pool. If you are already working a regular shift, you must clock out prior to beginning the party. All party hours are to be completed on a Pool Party Time Sheet and turned into the office. This will enable us to differentiate the type of work you are performing and pay you at a higher rate!
  2. If you are teaching swimming lessons, do not clock in and out of the ATK System. Your Swim Lesson Coordinator will let you know how to be paid for swimming lessons. The Swim Lesson Coordinator extension at the office is 107.
  3. If you are missing regular Lifeguarding hours or party hours you worked during the dates covered on your paycheck, or for any dates PRIOR to the dates covered on your paycheck, please email the hours you are missing to SBYRD03@aol.com, (you can also mail or fax them -770-594-9765). Be sure to include your full name, your ID#, the date and the times you worked during that pay period (i.e., Monday, 7/1/05, 10:00 - 4:00) - we will check this against what you have been paid and see what hours you are missing.
  4. If you come to work and clock in and the ATK Operator says, You did not clock out yet", follow the prompts and go ahead and clock in. This means that you did not clock out from your prior shift worked. You must submit in writing (via email) the to and from hours for the date which you did not clock out (last shift worked).
  5. If you are missing swimming lesson hours, please contact the Swim Lesson Coordinator at ext. 107.
  6. If your pay rate, the spelling of your name, your address, your social security # or your withholding status on your check is incorrect, please submit the correction in writing (via email).
  7. All reimbursements for raised pay rates or missing hours will be paid on the following check.
  8. If you see negative hours listed on your paycheck, it means when you were working a party, you were clocked in on the ATK system and that you also turned in a party timesheet for these same hours. The negative hours shown on the check are the ATK clocked-in hours and your check reflects the actual party hours (from the party timesheet) at the rate of time and a half.
