SwimAltanta has trained and certified hundreds of Lifeguards over the last 25 years. Most of our certification classes occur between March and August each year. Our class locations vary from year to year; however, we do try to spread our class locations around all areas of North Metro Atlanta. Our Lifeguard and CPR Classes are all American Red Cross Certifications. Our Lifeguard Instructors are employees of SwimAtlanta that are certified by the American Red Cross.
Although we only offer training to either current or future SwimAtlanta employees, we do accept certifications in either American Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguarding and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.
Class participants should bring a bathing suit, towel, lunch, and a check for $150.00 made out to Swim Atlanta Pool Management.
You must attend the entire course, not multiple courses, just all the dates and times of the course you choose. To register for a course call or email Kym Chapman at 770-992-7665 x103 or hr@sapm.net. Please state your full name and the specific course you want to attend. You will be added to the roster and contacted ONLY if there is a conflict.
